Well, to the early Christians (and non-Christians) the book of Revelation was supposed to frighten people so that they would turn to God and believe in him in order to be saved. It was probably a lot scarier to them in comparison to a modern audience. XD Honestly, I think the most ridiculous part about it is that it was all some weird dream sequence taken down by some old dude. And early Christians (and some modern ones) still consider it absolute truth. I mean, really? XD I wish Revelation didn’t exist, really. It’s stupid propaganda, and it ruins what could have been a decent New Testament. /grumblegrumbleMelody said it was creepy, but if you ask me, it just sounds obnoxious.
I mean… think about it. These four things are saying, over and over, just “God, you’re awesome”, and as soon as they’re done, the 24 guys have to get out of their seats, bow and say, “God, you are so awesome”, then resume their seats, and right before they get to get comfortable the beasts are done talking again and they have to get up and repeat the whole fucking thing.
